Scope

With this data protection declaration, users receive information about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of their data by the responsible provider. The legal framework for data protection is the "Datenschutz Grundverordnung" (DSGVO) (in the following translated to "General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)") and, in addition, the "Bundesdatenschutzgesetzt" (BDSG) and the "Telemediengesetz" (TMG).

Provision of chargeable services

In order for us to be able to provide chargeable services, we request additional data. This applies, for example, to payment details. To ensure the security of your data during transmission, we work with encryption methods (such as SSL) over HTTPS, which reflect the technique's current state of the art.

Data economy

In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, we only store personal data for as long as necessary or as prescribed by law (statutory storage period). If the purpose of the collected information no longer applies or the storage period ends, we will block or delete the data.

Contact form

If you contact us via online form or by e-mail, we will save the information you have provided so that we can answer your query and ask possible follow-up questions.

Comment function

If comments or other contributions are written and published on our website, we save the IP address, the user name and the time of creation. This data is collected for security reasons, since the provider can be prosecuted for illegal content (prohibited propaganda, insults, etc.), even if it was created by a third party. In such case, the information is used to determine the identity of the author.

Collection of general information

Each time you access this offer, we or the web space provider automatically collect information. This information, also known as server log files, is of a general nature and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally. Among other things, the following are recorded: Name of the website, file, date, amount of data, web browser and web browser version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our offer) and the IP address. Without this data, it would not be technically possible to deliver and display the content of the website. In this respect, the collection of the data is imperative. We also use the anonymous information for statistical purposes. They help us to optimize the offer and the technology. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the log files in the event of suspected illegal use of our offer.

Dealing with personal data

Definition: Personal information is all information that can be used to uniquely identify a person. It is therefore data that can be traced back to a person. This personal data includes the first name and surname, the telephone number and the e-mail address. Personal data also includes information on hobbies, memberships and preferences, as well as websites that have been accessed. This data is only collected, used and, if necessary, passed on by the provider, if the legislator expressly allows it or if the user consents to the collection, processing, use and disclosure of the data.

Newsletter

If you register for our newsletter, we will only use the data you have entered for this purpose or to inform you about the circumstances relevant to this service or registration. We do not pass this data on to third parties. A valid email address is required to receive the newsletter. The IP address that you use to register for the newsletter and the date on which you subscribe to the newsletter are also stored. This data serves as evidence in the event of misuse if a foreign e-mail address is registered for the newsletter. To ensure that an e-mail address is not misused by third parties on our mailing list, we work in accordance with the law with the so-called "double opt-in" procedure. As part of this process, the order of the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation email and the receipt of the registration confirmation are logged. At any time you have the option to revoke your consent to the storage of data, your email address and their use for sending the newsletter. For revocation, we provide you with a link in every newsletter and on the website. You also have the option of notifying us of your cancellation request using the contact options mentioned in this document.

Integration of services and content from third parties

Our offer sometimes includes content, services and benefits from other providers. These are, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube as well as graphics and images from other websites. So that this data can be called up and displayed in the user's browser, the transmission of the IP address is absolutely necessary. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the respective user. Even if we endeavor to use only third-party providers who only need the IP address in order to be able to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address may be saved. In this case, this process serves, among other things, statistical purposes. If we are aware that the IP address is stored, we will inform our users.

Cookies

This website uses so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer by the server. They contain information about the browser, the IP address, the operating system and the internet connection. We will not pass this data on to third parties or link it to personal data without your consent. Cookies have two main functions. In order to be able to take a data lock into account at any time, it is necessary to keep the data in a lock file for control purposes. Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to make changes at any time to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with current legal requirements. Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps map service via API. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Our contact details can be found in our imprint. Next to us there is the operator of the social media platform itself. In this respect, this is also another responsible person who carries out data processing, on which we have only limited influence. At the points where we can influence and parameterize data processing, we work within the scope of the options available to us to ensure that the operator of the social media platform handles data protection issues. In many places, however, we cannot influence the data processing by the operator of the social media platform and do not know exactly which data they process. 


Data processing by us: The data you enter on our social media pages such as comments, videos, pictures, likes, public messages etc. are published by the social media platform and never used or processed by us for other purposes. We only reserve the right to delete content if this should be necessary. Possibly. we share your content on our site if this is a function of the social media platform and communicate with you via social media platform. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Data processing takes place in the interest of our public relations and communication. If you would like to object to a particular data processing on which we have influence, please use the contact details given in the imprint. We will then check your contradiction. If you send us an inquiry on the social media platform, depending on the required answer, we may also refer to other secure communication channels that guarantee confidentiality. As already mentioned, we pay attention to the places where the provider of the social media platform gives us the opportunity to make our social media pages as compliant with data protection as possible. With regard to statistics that the provider of the social media platform provides us with, we can only influence them to a limited extent neither can we switch them off. However, we make sure that no additional optional statistics are made available to us. 

Data processing by the operator of the social media platform: The operator of the social media platform uses web tracking methods. Web tracking can also take place regardless of whether you are logged in or registered on the social media platform. As already shown, we can hardly influence the web tracking methods of the social media platform. For example, we cannot switch this off. Please be aware of this: It cannot be excluded that the provider of the social media platform uses your profile and behavioral data, for example to evaluate your habits, personal relationships, preferences, etc. We have no influence on the processing of your data by the provider of the social media platform. 

YouTube: On some sub-pages we may embed YouTube videos from the provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland in our website. We use the so-called "extended data protection mode" of the provider YouTube to integrate videos. This mode prevents YouTube from storing cookies for a user viewing a website with an embedded YouTube video player with advanced privacy protection, but not clicking the video to start playback. YouTube can only store cookies on your computer when the video is played. According to YouTube, however, no personal cookie information is saved for playback of embedded videos with extended data protection. We have no influence on further processing by YouTube. Google is legally responsible for this. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. Your rights as a user: When processing your personal data, the GDPR grants you certain rights as website user: 

1.) Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to request confirmation whether personal data concerning you are being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to information about this personal data and the information detailed in Art. 15 GDPR. 

2.) Right to correction and deletion (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR): You have the right to request the correction of incorrect personal data concerning you and, if necessary, the completion of incomplete personal data. You also have the right to request that personal data concerning you to be deleted immediately if one of the reasons listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. when the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued. 

3.) Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you have objected to the processing, for the duration of any review. 

4.) Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): In certain cases, which are detailed in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format or request the transmission of this data to a third party. 

5.) Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): If data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR processed (data processing to protect legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons that arise from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrable compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection regulations. The right to lodge a complaint can in particular be asserted with a supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged violation.
